Freyja Mitts

These elegant fingerless mitts are designed with a fitted silhouette and a delicate wavy edge for a feminine and romantic feel. Each mitt is knitted from the bottom up, starting at the wrist and finishing at the fingers. The thumb is shaped with gradual increases, with the resulting stitches placed on hold while the rest of the mitt is knitted. The thumb stitches are then picked up and the thumb is knitted separately, finished with an i-cord edge. The main body of the mitt and the wavy edge are knitted separately. Once both pieces are complete, they are joined together and finished with an i-cord bind-off, creating a neat and polished edge.
